Jean Monnet Center for European Studies as a part of international team of Finnish-Russian Network on Area studies and Methodologies (FRAME) invites applications to the intensive course, to be organised in St. Petersburg, 24-29 April 2021.

The intensive course focuses on different approaches to area studies with a specific emphasis on theoretical and methodological aspects of area studies.

The course is meant for MA students, Ph. D. candidates and advanced BA students.

As part of the intensive course students are expected to present a research paper connected and in addition, there are required readings for the intensive course.
Application includes:

• CV with contact information of an applicant and indication of current status of study;
• research proposal that would be a base for the future research paper to be presented during intensive course (min. 300 words; max. 400 words);
• motivation letter (min. 300 words; max. 400 words)

Decision would be announced not later than 18 February 2022.
